THE ROYAL APPOINTMENT…

EDITORIAL

One of the most profound truths about our existence which most of us do not realize is that there is an appointment that has already been made on each of our spirit man before birth. It was the appointment that necessitated our birth. God then loans to us a body to make that appointment a reality. Just as an appointment was made on the spirit man of Esther to be the savior of all the Jews in all the One Hundred and twenty provinces of Shushan, we have a calling hanging over our lives. If we picture the events of our existence in a timeline, we will discover there are three stages: The Appointment. The Responsibility.  The Accountability. We are at that stage of responsibility where we have the opportunity to succeed or fail at this mission. But I pray that the Holy Spirit of God will communicate to us things that we need to know to succeed at this assignment In Jesus Name. It is therefore in a bid to make our assignment a reality that we’ve put together our resources both spiritually, physically and mentally to communicate the mind of God to us about each of our assignments.

We thank God for the opportunity He has given to us to be His Oracle to men. It’s been a challenging sail but His Grace has been sufficient for us. We also appreciate your support and prayers. It’s been our encouragement at stressful moments.

For this second edition, we have Sonuga Emmanuel from Obafemi Awolowo University revealing to us the place of the Christian family in the agenda of God. We also have the duo of Farayola Ibukunoluwa and Popoola Hannah bearing the divine beacon of feminine beauty and the pride of womanhood. Their packages are really enlightening. We will also be having a critical look at the Auto-biographic Diary of a lady, Fadare Esther; believing that God will give us fresh perspective to understanding Divine Destiny. We will also look at God’s perspective on spiritual Disciplines in a bid to get ourselves prepared for the good fight of faith.  Above all, our April-December Bible reading calendar that enables take a step higher in our relationship with God is also part of this edition. Fasten the loins of your mind as we ruminate on the Divine Inspirations of these scribes and you will be happy you did!

Till the next edition, when we will be communicating the mind of the King (GOD), in His name (Jesus) and by His SEAL (Holy Spirit), engage you spirit in the understanding of God’s revelation.

WITH LOVE!

SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES

THE ART OF SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES

Spiritual discipline is a subject I would not personally divulge into as there are certain areas of my life that I’m also trusting God to help me guide with discipline. Yet I felt led to write on this subject probably because God wants to convey His mind to us all at this particular hour. I pray we will not miss out of this divine encounter even as God opens our eyes to what we must do to walk in the fullness of God’s Glory in Jesus’ name.

One of the most subtle temptations in Christendom today is that everybody wants to speak great spiritual mysteries when we’ve yet understood the small mysteries. Spiritual maturity is not when we start speaking great things; it’s when we start to discipline ourselves in small things.

Paul said “All things all lawful, but not all things are helpful” (1 Cor 10:23)

What are the lawful things and what are the helpful things?

  • THE LAWFUL THINGS

The Message Bible quoted that verse as “Just because something is technically legal doesn’t mean that it is spiritually appropriate

Brethren, we will never get any where serious with God without segregating the lawful things in our lives from the helpful things of our spirit. Christianity is a race of Disciplines. Spiritual Disciplines! How disciplined are we in spiritual things? Thank God for His graces over your life. You are spiritually gifted. You have the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues as evidence. You know and can speak spiritual mysteries. Thank God for all these graces. But what are the Spiritual Disciplines guiding your life? I’m not talking about the every-good-Christian-must-read-bible-daily legalism that makes spiritual activities an empty routine devoid of God’s presence rather than moments of divine refreshment and re-equipping. I’m referring to the fortified strong hold securing our Spiritual life. The twelfth chapter of Hebrews said “… let us lay aside every weight and the sin which easily besets us…” All of us, no matter the level of our spirituality have ‘the sin that easily besets us’. For most people, it is lust. For some, its pride and worldliness and for others, it is something else. Brethren, we must acknowledge our vulnerability. Esau was a nice man but he was vulnerable. His unregulated appetite rooted life out of him. He was a skilled hunter but left his appetite undisciplined. Sisters, are your appetites under disciplines? Brothers, are our raging sexual emotions under disciplines or are we still playing a kind of super saints who cannot be tempted?

Can you simply ask yourself “What are the lawful things in my life that are not helpful?” Things I need to put under subjection? Even Apostle Paul got to that stage in his life when he proclaimed “I discipline my body and put it under subjection lest after preaching to others, I myself be a cast away”. (1 Cor 9:27)

The fall of great men in the bible beginning from Adam and Eve to David, Samson and Peter reveals the unconsciousness of their frailty. How many tragedies have begun with brotherly hugs and touches! Spiritual Disciplines!

Brethren, I am not sure we are disciplined. In our Career. Relationships. Finances? When I look at the way some Christians spend money, I tag them “colossal failures to the economy of heaven”; Spiritual men living riotous life! How do we handle Relationships? By discipline! Disciplines of relationship cannot be overlooked as unimportant if we are ever going to fulfill God’s assignment. There are men like Jonah positioned by the devil in this journey who will destabilise your sense of purpose by breaking your focus. They are not necessarily bad people, they are not just right for you. Disconnect yourself from every ungodly association and you will save yourself years and tears of secret disappointment!

In Career; I tell people, Christianity is not a race of mediocrity. It is a call to Excellence. It is an error to be leading and bleeding when your father is the Captain of our salvation.

  • THE HELPFUL THINGS

What are the helpful things we have neglected in our pursuit of Spirituality? We want to speak in diverse tongues. We want to teach the bible with great revelations. We want to be prayer warriors. We want to do spiritual gimm gimm! Yet we don’t want to build spiritual hedges around our lives. Spiritual indisciplines are open doors for the devil to weaken our spirit man to divine sensitivity. There are three levels of sensitivity:

  • High sensitivity
  • Low sensitivity
  • No sensitivity

Even if we are at the High level sensitivity, Spiritual indiscipline will demote us to low sensitivity level till we eventually get to that No-sensitivity level where we get comfortable with sins that we once dread. A lady once told me the Holy Spirit told her not to put on a kind of clothing. I believed it and commended her. After a while, I saw her putting on that same clothing and the only thing I said to her was “I guess the Holy Spirit have changed his mind?”

The first stage of backsliding is when we begin to get comfortable at places, with habits and people that we once dread and prayed to be delivered from. I hope we are not backsliding?

The helpful things! Brethren, what are the decisions guiding your life? Like Daniel purposed in his heart, what are the things you have purposed in your heart? My first priority is the assignment of God for my life. I have never been confused with that. This has become a discipline that has guided every decision I make. I may miss appointment with lectures. But never will I miss appointment with God and Destiny. I filter every of my day-to-day living in the light of these disciplines. A group of believers recently asked me “What will you do if…” I replied, your question should have been “What have you decided to do if…”. It is not a decision I will make now, it is a discipline I’d imbibed.

Olusola Areogun once said “When I discovered the assignment of God for my life, I knew that I needed a prayer warrior beside me as a wife and not a cook”. Brethren, what are the disciplines guiding our lives?

As a matter of fact, the devil has not given up on any of us. He’s still hunting for us hoping that one day, he will track us down. Let’s be disciplined. Copiously quoting Gbile Akanni in one of his books “Until the flesh in us dies, there are some levels of glory we will never attain”

And how does the flesh dies? By spiritual disciplines!

Not for ease or worldly pleasure,

Nor for fame my prayer shall be,

Gladly will I toil and suffer,

Only let me walk with thee…

“When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish thing”. (1 Cor 13:11)

DIARY OF AN UNFULFILLED DREAM

THE DIARY OF AN UNFULFILLED DREAM

ON the 15th of March 1992, I Omolola Abosede Esther was born to the family of Rev and Mrs Isaiah Comfort Adebayo. Although it had been earlier prophesied that I would be a boy, to everyone’s surprise, a baby girl was delivered by my mum. However, I have the conviction that I am a man in a woman. Consequent events confirmed my assertion. I hail from Osun State, Nigeria Ife East Local Government to be precise. I grew up in a village called Wanikin Eleja where I spent most of my childhood and teen years with my families, friends and loved ones. As far as I am concerned, life is not better that the one we lived in my village. I came to the realisation of myself as an existing human in the year 1996. The event that keeps ringing in my head in particular was the establishment of my parent’s school; the first of its kind in my village. I remembered it was a memorable day for the family in whole when the school resumed for academic activities. I was so proud of my parent for taking such a developing step in an obscure village.

My childhood experiences were memorable ones ranging from my warm home to the community at large. My closest friend then was Sukura. We did many things together and she was the best friend I had as a child. I like singing a lot especially from movies I watched. I remember there was this Indian film I watched titled GHAZAB, I loved this movie and I used to sing the songs with my friend on our way to the stream.

As a teenage girl, I had the passion for justice and despite my small stature I served as the class ‘judge’ then. Most times when there is a quarrel or misunderstanding among my class mates, they do not hesitate in calling on me to give the required judgement. And they trust me to be fair in my judgement. I settled quarrels amicably and encouraged peace in the class. And for this I was fondly called “The Incorruptible Judge” by my friends.

Although my parents are semi literate, they ensured I had the best education they could afford. I started school early and at age 8, I was qualified to write the State Common Entrance Examination to a secondary school. As expected, I was admitted to the school. My joy knew no bounds when I was offered admission at Hope International School, Yakoyoo; a private school located in a town which is few miles from my own village. I became the pride of my parents and the talk of the village. Also an encouragement to the younger ones as nobody has achieved such a great feat at my age in the village. Most of my colleagues put paid to their education at primary level majorly because their parents wouldn’t be able be afford the new fees. For this reason I was determined to strive higher in my new school and achieve my dream. However, this was soon to change.

I worked hard in school and my termly results were astonishing for my age. I wrote the Junior School Certificate Exam and I had one of the best grades then. But the financial crisis in my family increased drastically and I had to be withdrawn to a public school for my senior secondary education. I was admitted as an art student at Origbo Anglican Grammar School, Moro. I enjoyed being an art student even though we had no literature teacher in my school. And you can imagine art students not studying literature; it often saddens my heart. Nevertheless, I was encouraged myself. Instead of sitting down in self pity, I made sure I read the available books. Though buying text books was challenging for me as there was no money. I finally wrote my Senior School Certificate Exams and it was discouraging; I had five credits in my National Examination Council Examination (NECO).

With this result of mine, my dream of becoming a judge began to crumble. I gazed hopelessly into a distant future to see my motivation being silently murdered. After my graduation, my father told me to pick up a teaching job at another branch of his school at Ife North. His decision did not go down well with me as I saw it as an excuse to stop my education. Although on the other hand, I saw it as an opportunity to support my parents and earn a little money for myself. So, I consented. At the end of my first term there, my parents paid me fifteen thousand naira as my salary. To show my humility, I returned the money to them as my contribution to the family up-keep. But to my surprise, my father rejected it, blessing me for my sincerity and concern for the family.

I got bored every day as I never wanted to be a teacher, but I had no choice than to continue through. I struggled through teaching for four years before obtaining the part time (National Certificate of Education), NCE form as advised by my dad. The sandwich programme which takes place at Ipetu was affiliated to Osun State College of Education, Ilesa and it was to last for four years. At first I rejected the offer because my aim was to study law at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife but due to the financial status of my parents, I had to concur to my parents’ wish. I resumed school in the year 2007 and my course combination was English/Yoruba. During this period, my mother got a government appointment to a public secondary school in my village, so I became the head-teacher of the school at our village. This means travelling from my school at Ipetu to my village at Wanikin every weekend for four consecutive years. And sincerely yours, it was not an easy task for a young girl of my age.

I experienced a lot of challenges especially during my teaching practice. The students were very stubborn and dishonest unlike the primary school students I was teaching back in my village. Things got worse in my family and I had to learn to fend for myself. In order to pay my school, I enrolled for the police recruitment exercise with the hope that I would combine the two together. Unfortunately for me, my height was to my disadvantage and I was disqualified. Frustrated, I went back to my teaching profession and focused more on finishing my N.C.E. programme with a good grade so that if fortune smiles on me, I will be admitted to the university.

The tension in my family mounted when my father was sick to the point of death. Then, I thought my world was coming to an end because I just couldn’t imagine life without my father. With the help of God and support of men, he came back to life after being in coma for three days. As if that was not enough, I was involved in an auto-mobile accident that nearly took my life. It was then that I knew God has a special assignment for me on earth. After my recovery, I renewed me determination to fulfil that purpose no matter what lies ahead.

I finished my N.C.E. part time programme in the year 2010 but my certificate was withheld as I was grossly indebted to the school. I tried getting the money on my own but my efforts proved abortive as help was not forth coming. I also couldn’t secure a good job without my certificate. I then decided to source for help from my mother’s relations living in Abuja. I went there with the hope of getting financial assistance to clear my debt and get my certificate, but I returned empty handed because they insisted I work for them as a house help before they can render the assistance. I came back home to continue teaching in my father’s school till February, 2012 when my parents finally left the village. I then became the sole proprietor of the school. It wasn’t easy at all as managing the affairs of the school was a challenging task for someone of my age. I was barely nineteen then. Sometimes I cry and pray without getting help especially when the teachers’ salary are due and the students are yet to pay their fees.

One day, my hope of attending a University was rekindled. I heard some set of people shouting at our village square exactly in front of the king’s palace. I was surprised as to what the shouting could mean, So I inquired from a passer-by. It was then I knew it was some students’ missionaries from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ife that came for soul winning. Merely hearing that name, something jumped up within me. I moved towards the village square to hear what they wanted to say. The students announced that there was going to be a programme for the youth of my village the following day. They encouraged every youth irrespective of their age differences to come. On hearing this, I made up my mind to attend and at least see them because they were like treasure to me; the epitome of what I dreamt to be! The next day, I and my friend; Sukura, who is now with a baby boy (unwanted child) went for the programme and that has been the beginning of a transformation in my life. I had a close contact with their female leader and she advised me on some personal issues. She later insisted I visit her on campus some day. Meanwhile, I’d always dreamt of going to the university even if it’s just for fun. I saw this as an opportunity and I didn’t hesitate to embrace it.

I was overwhelmed with joy on my first night with them on campus. I woke up with the aspiration of being one of the students of the school. But then financial incapability stares at me in the face waking me up to reality. I believe with God all things are possible, still my  mind betrays my hope. I really want to study law and become a judge because it had always been my desire and becoming one will be my life’s most fulfilled dream. I keep encouraging myself and I’m determined not to give up. Like the saying goes “quitters never win and winners never quit” I know if I did not quit, someday I will win. I believe with the help of God and philanthropists out there, my goal will be reached.

I KEEP HOPE ALIVE!

Thank you.

THE VIRTUOUS WOMAN

THE VIRTOUS WOMAN

“Everyday, I’m loving the woman that God is moulding me into, I’m not there yet but I’m so glad that I’m not where I used to be” so goes a wall paper on my phone. And each time I glance through my picture gallery, locating these wordings, I just can’t help but smile. This was not because I’ve already attained my utmost level of greatness but because I know God is taking me somewhere and moulding me into that great woman; The Proverbs 31 woman! I’ve not for any day regretted that God created me a woman.

I’m always filled with endless joy in my heart whenever I remember how special we are to God. Let me tell you this if you don’t know, not to flatter you but to create a kind of consciousness in you that you are not just an ordinary being, you are special and to whom much is given, much is required. You are the apple of God’s eyes. A treasure to behold and guide jealously, the exact replica of the trinity, a treasure endowed by God, loaded with treasures and virtues, an angel that must not be hurt and the joy of many generations. This is just a little of what we are in the hands of God.

Whenever God looks at you, he sees a complete woman with treasures and virtues not only for her but for her man and her generation. You are not a half being struggling for wholeness but a perfect match in creation! Have it in mind that you are now passing through the fire for refining. And for you to actually become that woman you have to endure the refining, looking ahead to the glory set before you.

Becoming the proverbs 31 woman is not an easy task and not a sudden process either. It is a gradual process. Well, that’s not our main focus for now. Proverbs 31 is for another time.

Have it in mind that God has deposited so much into your life and it will be so unwise of you to submit your crown to a man who does not deserve you or a local prince. That is the most painful and sorrowful thing that can happen to a lady. And when you meet the man that made for you, respect him. Respect the Anointing of God over his life. He may just look like an ordinary man to you but that is the man that carry the divine substances you will need to make your Destiny happens. You cannot be a partaker of the anointing you did not respect. Complement him. Be diligent. His calling is supposed to be a joint-pursuit not His own ambition alone. Minister to Him. Don’t make him a lone ranger. Give Him a strong home advantage. Understand that there are times he will behave irrationally, accept him for who he is. He is not perfect yet neither are you. It is by doing all these that the Blessings of God can be showered on the marriage and your children can be like trees planted by the streams of water. As you minister to him, the anointing on his life will begin to flow to your life and it is only then that you can rise up early to the need and cry of your generation. All the Graces of  God over your life is not to be hoarded or used in rebellion to your man but for the benefit of those God is sending to your path. Don’t keep it to yourself alone. Your generation needs you and always remember that you are accountable to them. God is expecting so much from you to deliver to this generation.

Finally, be a woman of prayer. A woman that agonises and travails so much at the place of prayer. A woman that can bring about changes right on her knees. There is power in you. Wait daily on God at the secret place and secure a place in God’s agenda for the generations yet unborn. Make a vow to intercede for lives every day and also for this generation until something happens.

You are not just an ordinary woman; you are a WO(mb)MAN!

CELEBRATE YOUR FEMINITY!

THE PROCESS OF DIVINE RELATIONSHIP

THE PROCESS OF A RELATIONSHIP
Everyone loves fruits but only few will spare attention for seeds! It’s easier to appreciate a forest but difficult to value a seed that made the forest. God never deals with men from the top-down but rather from the down-up. He deals with men at the foundation; he makes men in the soil not on the soil.
Thanks to village missions endeavours and equal thanks to city wandering exposures. When I walk through the ‘fanimorou’s stacks of goods in Shop rite at Victoria Island, I can’t just but be amazed at the extent of packaging, such that a toothpick could pass for a tooth-snack. But on the contrast, strolling through the corners of the village, I’m also amazed but this time, at the conditions my supermarket’s ‘fanimorous’ had come from, more specifically the red oil. The village factory could be nauseating in sight coupled with the uninvited guests who pay courtesy visits to your skin leaving you with souvenirs of itching spot. No thanks to these microscopic ‘good’ creatures. Put these beside one another, and you will realize that a NORMAL you will appreciate the supermarket but the SPIRITUAL you admires the village factory as SUPER. Indeed, God does not make product in the supermarkets and you should never seek for one there.
Hey! Still hang there; we are touring another city, heading towards the roundabout of understanding, under the pilotship of the Holy-Spirit, where God is waiting with his private jet of revelation to move us unto higher places in the spirit. Your seat belt please!
Very recently, the Nigerian Baptist Convention chose as its theme as ‘Building witnessing families’. Such a rare theme! Imagine! Despite the teachings on 21st century evangelism dynamics, ancient landmarks of soul winning, unquestionable practical steps of advancing the great commission, several evangelism schools with fire-brand teachings, uncountable missions schools with spirit-led classes, yet the Nigerian Baptist was taught ‘FAMILY’ as a fundamental instrument of breaking new frontiers in advancing the Kingdom of God. Waoh! Isn’t that awesome?
I beg to disagree, but if the whole world will be ruled by the devil as one government, shouldn’t the church of Christ rule by one government? United leaders do not make united government; the best they can deliver to us is a united democracy. What makes a united government is a united family. Shall we have recourse to the birth of Jesus? It was prophesied by Prophet Isaiah that the Government shall be upon his shoulder. If the Government was all that matters; if the SERVICES were all that was as the gift of redemption, then I wonder why God was interested in having a united family at the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. After all, Mary wasn’t pregnant with the child of Joseph, and God has not run out of miracles of making Mary’s birth of Jesus supernatural despite the divorce of Joseph. No! It is all for our purpose! It is all for our generation to know that only the cause of CHRIST can bind the most condemned cases of relationship. And that before the PURPOSE of GOD for man can be obtained, the PURPOSE of GOD in man must have been sustained. Little wonder, Michal was not allowed to birth the successor of David, she had misplaced the ESSENCE of her joining with David which was to HELP him attain the pleasure of God in all his ways, and God couldn’t find her worthy of walking in the promises of Christ t fulfilment. Instead of her being named in the genealogy of Christ, BATHSEBA was named either.
What’s the point am trying to drive home? The DEVIL has seen that MISSIONARIES like PHILIP, in this end-time will no longer be raised in the most reputable missions’ schools, but HOMES, FAMILIES and MARRIAGES that have earned the reputation of Christ. Haven’t you wondered why men who encountered marital challenges always opt for the School of Ministry as an escape route? Even when Jesus was at the point of dying, he still drove home the paramount place of FAMILY in the Great Commission. He didn’t say, ‘Sister, behold your brother’, but ‘SON behold your MOTHER’. My Lord Jesus was telling us that brothers and Sisters may build houses but it takes SONS and MOTHERS to build homes. Little wonder, Paul admonished Timothy to treat every elder male brethren as Fathers and elder female brethren as Mothers and every maiden as a sister, likewise every brethren as a brother. If HOUSES make HEAVEN, God will have dwelt within Solomon’s temple. But because HANDS make HOUSES and Hearts make HOMES and the Heart is the G.R.A: God Residential Area, He ensured that it was better Apostle Paul never married than marry but never be fulfilled in it.
“Oh! God! WE ask for CHRISTIAN HOMES, not CHRISTIAN HOUSES, homes where the bible is read and taught, homes where Christ is loved and sought, God give us Christian homes, God give us Christian homes” (The ARTICLE just started…To be continued…)
Where am I heading to? Buy the future in that relationship. At the point of making a choice, you will find many alternatives. The most appealing being ready-made ones. That also applied to making a choice in marriage.
Shall we begin with the word? “In the beginning God made…” Great! After then he said, “Let there be…”. That is it! There are always two types of creation: the MADE and the READY-MADE. The bible said in 1 Peter 2:4-5 that “He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness” That is a ready-made creation but it never came before ”He had made us partaker of His divine nature”. God makes-PROCESS, “Let there be”-PRODUCT.
Now, in relationships between single sisters and single brothers, we do feel we carry an unction of knowing all things, but it is only the things that God wants us to know that we have an unction to know. God has reserved some knowledge and understanding that made Him to be God. If he won’t share his glory, he will never share the source of His glory. But unfortunately, we become too knowledgeable whenever it comes to knowing the will of God. Do you know that when making a choice you are meant to be sleeping? Do you know that if God is the ‘alarina’ of your marriage, you are meant to be asleep. So tell me, how come you knew this much about the best woman of your destiny when you were expected to be asleep?
We all think we know so much that we begin to pre-empt in advance the details of the calibre of our “he” or “She” that God has made for us. Mind you, I said “Pre-empting” not “inspired”, and “advanced” not “normal”. We are born of God not only us but everything in us. Thus, we are to exercise our discretion even in Kingdom matters and in our Christian faith but such liberty of discretion will become an anomaly if it is not subjected to the will of the giver of our faith.
“Oh!” that brother must be this; the sister I will receive must be in this package. Praise God! The expectations of the righteous shall not be cut short, meaning God expects our expectations but He’s not expecting it to be greater than that of His. Very often, we expect God to fit into our desires and not our desires fitting into his. Our eyes deceive us as a binocular into the known. We want to define the dictionary of God’s will according to the dictionary of our experience; either read or heard or perceived. Brother! You are heading for the boutique, if what you want first fits your mind before fitting into that of God. Sister, you are in the boutique of ready made will of God operated by the intellect to find a garment for the generations of the spirit.
A ready-made gift will come with tailored consequences. Beware
Marriage isn’t just emotions relating with emotions to birth children. But spirit relating with spirit to birth Destiny. Once we get it right in relationship and marriage, we will get it right in every area of our lives!

ARE YOU REALLY BEAUTIFUL?

ARE YOU REALLY BEAUTIFUL?

Hello ladies, its being a month now. Good to be here with you again on this blog. Hope you enjoyed our packages last month? I’m also assuring you a splendid time together again this month as we will be discussing the true reflection of a lady’s beauty! Enjoy Reading.
If there a question every one of us should settle early in our life, it is the question of beauty. This is the question that has raced down the ages; right from the time the sons of God began to chase the daughters of Eve down to our own generation. We ask others “Am I beautiful?” and then we spend the rest of our life trying to be beautiful because someone told us we are ugly or that we are not as beautiful as someone else. Hence we launch into woman hood in a psychological race of beauty.
Do you think Esther could have been the most beautiful lady in all the provinces of Shushan? Do you even think she stands a chance? She was first a slave, and then an orphan. That may suggest that she was raised in poverty. How then could she have emerged the beauty of all the one hundred and twenty-seven provinces of King Ahasuerus, from India to Ethiopia? Moreover, there are Royal families in all the provinces who also presented their most beautiful virgins. There are also virgins raised in rich homes who have the right curves in the right places. Esther had no home advantage neither a silver spoon. Yet, she was tagged the most beautiful virgin. That tells us that beauty goes beyond what meets the eyes. There are some salient lessons God wants us to learn here. I pray the lessons will not be wasted on us.
I want to ask “How do we measure beauty? Why do we classify some ladies as beautiful and others as ugly? Better still “What makes a lady beautiful?” I think we should start from what beauty really is. Only then can we put it in its right perspective and continue to live in the reality of what God says beauty is.
Beauty is having qualities that are pleasant to the senses and the mind. The beauties of a thing are its attractive qualities and features. That is, its ability to please, endear and delight the senses and mind. Though we all have a personal view of what beauty is, based on parental upbringing and societal programming. For instance, a girl who grows up in a home where the mum dresses “heavy” when leaving the house cannot be expected not to paint faces. This is because the perception in that little girl’s mind is “You are only beautiful when you paint your face” A lady who also spends ample time besides the Television and watching fashion shows cannot but be seen on half naked clothes. She thinks “that’s the latest trend. You’ve got to join them if you want to be among”. They both start competing in a race they cannot win because someone or something makes them feel they are not up-to-the standard or that they are the inferior specie of human being. Though the aesthetic theory of beauty says “beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”, yet there is a limit to what the human eyes can perceive. If the criteria for the selection of the queen was based only on what the eyes can see, Esther stands no chance. But chapter 2:17 says “Esther obtained Grace and Favour” That’s where real beauty starts.
It is the mind that can see such a beauty because it is a thing of the heart. It transcends the most beautiful definition of human expression of beauty. It is the kind of beauty that flows from within and radiates outwards like the bright morning star. This is the kind of beauty Esther posses.

The beauty that comes from within has some distinguishing characteristics and they are;
• Quiet and Gentle Spirit. (I Pet 3:4)
“ 3. Let not yours be the external adorning with knotting of hair, the wearing of jewellery, or changes of clothes. 4. But let it be the inward adorning and beauty of the hidden person of the heart with the incorruptible and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit which is very precious in the sight of God”
A quiet and gentle spirit is an inner disposition of peaceful and humble contentment with everything around it irrespective of the situations and circumstances. This is the hallmark of real beauty. It is the spirit that finds solace in God. It is not a troublesome, talkative and stubborn spirit. A lady with this beauty radiates love and kindness to everybody around her. She is a blessing to others because of her steadfastness in God. It is the spirit that God values most and it draws the partnership of God into the life of such a lady. This kind of spirit powers the human soul and brings out the virtues in a lady. She becomes the God-leading lady! You want to display real beauty? Then be of a quiet and gentle.
• Modesty. (I Tim 2:9)
As the name implies, modesty means moderation and appropriation. It is possessing a sense of decency and simplicity. Modesty is not just putting on good clothes; modesty is honouring God by acknowledging the value He placed on your body when He created you. Ladies, today’s world of advertising will never tell you how beautiful you already are. Instead it will tell you how beautiful you can be if you put on this or buy that. This is why modesty comes in. Modesty in the clothes you wear, in your approach to people and even in your relationship with the opposite sex. In a simple way, modesty is choosing to let your beauty speak of love not lust. Beauty is not about men falling for you because of what you put on; it is about men seeing the Glory of God upon you. Modesty should be a practical way of life. It should be seen in the way you talk, in the way you dress, in the way you interact and even eat! Some rape cases, sexual assault, molestation would have been avoided if moderation had been applied.
• Peace and Holiness (Heb 12:14).
We are admonished to worship God “in the beauty of His Holiness” that gave an understanding that Holiness has a beauty it confers on someone. Because Holiness is the nature of God, when we also present ourselves unstained by sexual perversion and worldly pleasures, the nature of God’s beauty is radiated into our lives. 2 Cor 3:18 says “As we behold Him, we are being transformed from one degree of glory to another degree of glory” Can you see that? As you pursue peace and Holiness, there is a transcending of the beauty of God’s glory into your life.
A peaceful and holy lady is not the I-don’t-tolerate-nonsense type of lady. She is joyful and accommodating. She is not the hypocritical do-what-I-preach lady that uses spirituality as the bedrock for laziness and unfriendliness. She is neat and organized. Most of us spiritual sisters use our spiritual activities to justify our lackadaisical attitudes good communication with people. We are careless, disorganized, undisciplined and worst still unfriendly all in the name of spirituality. But God is saying “If you are not holy, you are not beautiful” The scripture compares an outward display of beauty with inward reflection of ungodliness as putting a diamond ring in a pig’s snout; it is totally worthless!
Here are some tips from Gods saloon:
• Cleanliness: It’s next to godliness.
• Dress smartly: The way you dress is the way you will be addressed.
• Make your hair regularly: It is a gift from God.
• Cover your cleavage: It’s your treasure.
• Develop a healthy self esteem: People will treat you the same way you treat yourself.
• Eat right and stay healthy for your man. Most especially, let God be the reflection of your unfading beauty.
With these, a glorious future in God awaits you to live and enjoy.
REMAIN BEAUTIFUL!!!

EDITORIAL

To be purchased does not translate to being sold-out. A purchasing power transfers ownership but a selling-out power relocates possession. Can you picture yourself being the owner of a thing but not in possession? That’s exactly the position God is now, after purchasing us from eternal damnation by the blood, thus, becoming our rightful owner, yet, we make him regret purchasing us when we live out of the ‘possession’ of his will. Will you please join me in this prayer before we move on: “O Father, I acknowledge that I was purchased from the consequences of my iniquities and that of four generation preceding me. Father, I want to intentionally apologise for not been within the ‘possession’ of your will some days I have lived behind and briefly staying in your possession for the other days I have lived. Here I am Lord, relocating the totality of my vessel into the entirety of your possession, let your will be done in my life from now on, nothing more, nothing less, nothing else, at all cost in Jesus name I pray. AMEN!”

Wow! Did you feel what I just felt? a rousing of the mind in peace and burden. Just hold on to that burden and ride on it to the place of prayers, you will be surprised at where you shall arrive.

We are grateful to God who has once again showered on us an unmerited grace in terms of resources, spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially in inaugurating “SHUSHAN THE PALACE”, another residence of spirits who are bound for the Kingdom of Heaven and bound by the Kingdom of God. We therefore say a big THANK-YOU for believing God in us with this vision, we pray for grace to always surpass your expectations in this journey of inspired writings.

For this first edition, we have ISOLA OYEBAMIJI TAIWO from University of Maiduguri unleashing God’s mind in a novel dimension, POPOOLA HANNAH and FARAYOLA IBUKUNOLUWA from Obafemi Awolowo University delivering the heart-beat of God for the female generation, both now and future. Their fruits of thought is truly enriching. Sisters! Don’t miss out on them. And finally our ‘River of Ulai’ from the Ministering Spirit Outreach, packaged by God to inflict a heavy and unchangeable awareness that the END is nearer to us than our clothes to our body. It’s the ‘extra-time’ of grace.

Till next edition when we bring you another irreversible mind of the King (GOD) in his NAME (JESUS) by his SEAL (HOLY-SPIRIT), engage the spirit in you and you will get engaged to the understanding of God. (Job 328). LOVE!

LAMENTATIONS!

“A voice is heard in Ramah, Lamentations and great mourning, Rachael weeping for her children, for they are no more!”

O mighty Destiny, I lament your death,

I weep bitterly for you,

How are you aborted so quickly!

Tears stream down my face as I behold your execution,

Your glory is about to depart,

To be punctured by sexuality.

In the transition of your termination,

That lonely moment when nature seems quiet,

When raging emotions are set loose,

And your nakedness is exposed.

O Destiny, I lament for you,

The determinant has encroached your sanctuary,

You were undiscerning when the adversary sneaked in,

And plucked your future hope.

Your future honour dashed away,

In a little touch, a careless hug, a little kiss and ungodly look,

Your glory unravelled between your thigh,

And just in a flash, your miscarriage is sealed!

I lament for you, generations yet unborn lament for you!

Whose hope you sold,

Though years later you will search again with bitter tears,

But Alas… Alas… Alas…!

I only wish you TAKE HEED to your own lest you stumble, tumble & miss it…

…CUSTODY of HEGAI…

MORE THAN RUBIES

Have you noticed a woman of virtue and valor that made impact in her generation? There hasn’t been anyone before her and none after her. She was a glory to human race and to her generation. She was a pride of every woman. Guess who? DEBORAH the wife of Lappidoth. Deborah was a mighty and manly woman in her generation who led an army of soldiers and warriors into conquering the enemies. She was a strong woman of faith used by God in delivering the Israelites from death. She was so close to God that HE found a vessel He could use in her.

She was called a wife i.e. she was a virtuous woman worthy of being called a wife and through her, her husband’s name was known in the bible. She didn’t fail in her responsibilities as a mother in taking care of her children as none of her children was heard in a negative way. She was a prophet, she knew the mind of the Lord for her people always, she was wise, and she had the wisdom of God which is Jesus in understanding time and season. She understood the right time for her manifestation and she was sensitive to everything around her. Through her wisdom, she became a consultant (Judge) and everyone both kings and commoners came to contact her for Gods counsel.

She had a position, she is not just anywhere the Israelites knew where to find her and she had her boundary i.e. she had a place she could go and not go. A lot of women do not have boundaries, they would be found every here and there doing unnecessary things. It is very important for women to be disciplined because a disciplined life is destined for greatness. Deborah can never be found outside her God given territory, in fact a tree was named after her where she could be found. Many women are known for gossip and irrelevant gisting at the wrong time. Deborah possesses all the qualities a virtuous woman possesses and indeed her price was more than rubies. Am sure her husband and children called her blessed. Every woman should strive to be like her as she made a positive impact to human race and was of good significance to her generation. Today I ask you, are you a Deborah of your generation or a Delilah of your time?

…HADASSAH’s HUT…

LIKE A GOLD RING IN A PIG’s SNOUT

Just like an average girl going up in this era, it is no news that young ladies like you and I are in a jungle of confused values where many people just rise up to do what they think is right in their own eyes. There are so many contradictory voices beckoning on the young woman from the home, school, church, media and street to model after them.

I grew up looking around for whom to pattern my life after. I met different kinds of women and in my own imagination, I made moves to want to be like them. Starting with my mum, I wore her high heeled shoes, her dresses and posed before the mirror in admiration of myself. Then when visiting another woman’s house, a member of the extended family, I wished to be like her, so I painted my face and finger nails like hers.

As a young lady searching for love and identity in the wrong places were my pre-occupation even in the school. I felt rejected by many who felt I was too short, too young, too poor or worse still too ugly to be identifies with. It is quite a painful and shameful experience to be treated as nobody. I was taught the music and the dance steps of the disco-halls including how to get a boyfriend in order to be accepted. I succumbed to some weird training behind doors from my peers and strange women. Those who felt I was too ugly taught me how to wear more revealing and sexy clothe, dance to some sexy music and even use some beauty aids all in a bid to attract the attention of boys to myself. I desperately wanted to be chosen by men around to prove my worth and popularity. My life was virtually a bundle of confusion and this was actually a search for an authentic identity. The experience of growing up as a ‘nobody’ was very depressing and nobody likes it. Do you?

My quest continued until I encountered the MAN that ‘made me’. You need a more intelligent designer to make you something special. Until I met this man, I was “like a gold ring in a pig’s snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion” (Prov. 11:22)

What gain can one desire from a life of sin and decay? It is suicidal and a very unfortunate experience to a jewel to be wasted in such a trap. I want to indeed tell you that God can indeed fashion and unveil a new breed of graceful, courageous and truly beautiful woman out of you – the jewel.

Young woman, your desire to conform to the patterns of womanhood you see around, just to be like others in order to be accepted will prevent you from being transformed into that woman who will fit into God’s purpose. If you refuse to be made by him, then you become nothing – John 1:3

…MORDECAI’s GATE…

Indeed, Every Destiny has a syllabus!

DESTINY HAS SYLLABUSES

I write this article purposely to identify myself with the “torn in the flesh” of a dearly beloved brother. I understand that it is difficult to be everybody’s hero when you are hemorrhaging to death under a certain experience because there is a torn embedded in your flesh.

Destiny has syllabuses, and if it has syllabuses, then it must have specifications and exceptions. Samson’s mother was given the syllabus of his destiny. But somehow, he ignored it and failed successfully. Your destiny also has its syllabus. The only recipe for disaster in destiny is to adopt another man’s scheme of work because it appears simple.

The syllabus exposes each of us to varying experiences that train us and make us fit for manifestations.

There some lessons in the syllabus that are rough and tough, and some are sweet and interesting. Most often, we think someone else syllabus is better than ours and we begin to copy theirs. To such people, I say “When you run your destiny by another man’s speedometer, you will crash by his errors”

Wait on God for strength and understanding of your own syllabus, then abide faithfully. The sail may be rough, the journey may be challenging and stress may be the trade mark, but like the angel revealed to Paul “… nonetheless you must run aground on some island!”

Brethren, be of good courage. The joy of abiding transcends the struggles. Abide under the disciplines of your destiny syllabus. And you will come out a sanctified vessel, prepared, fit and kept for the master’s use.

Remain Blessed.

…By the RIVER of ULAI…

ON THE VERGE OF CHAOS

Rapture looms as U.S. sets to fulfill revelation prophecy

“Start Now To Tell Your People in America Not to Take Any Mark in Their Right Hand or Forehead”

With their hands fastened to their loins, many are asking: “is this a mere coincidence?” Nay! Yet but a couple of weeks and the Obama Health Care Law will take off.

A rather strange and satanic exercise is due to take off in the United States in March, 2013. This is the month when, as contained in a law signed by President Obama on Tuesday 5th March 2012, Americans must start to take in their right hand or forehead a dark-square sign referred to as RFID microchip.

But, ask, why a provision of law merely compelling the implantation of a chip underneath the skin of the right hand or forehead should arouse so much tension and outcry in a secular nation as the U.S. where abortion and such abominations are legal, and Christian fundamentalists will direct you to the Christian scripture where RFID microchip clashes head long with an age long prophecy for the End-Times. So I make bold to ask again: ‘is this a mere coincidence?’  Again I say Nay!

“If anyone… receives a mark on his forehand or on his hand, he also shall drink the wine of God’s wrath, poured unmixed into the cup of His anger, and he shall be tormented with fire and sulphur in the presence of the lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up for ever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night…”  Revelation 14:9-11

A certain product is causing all the noise in the U.S. at present. It is a microchip, just the size of a grain of rice. It measures 7mm and 0.075mm – Imagine that! The product, the subject of a Health Care Act of the U.S. senate, is surgically implanted below the skin of either the human forehead or the right hand. In either of the places, once implanted, it cannot be removed! If it is removed by surgery, the small capsule will burst and the individual will be contaminated by lithium chemical in the micro-bacteria. The global position system (general operating power house) will also reflect if it was removed, and will alert the authorities. Myriads of privileges are said to accrue to the carrier of this object, and all these revolve around commercial, economic, political and legal rights and capacities in a cash less society.

The main purpose of the microchip is to herald a cashless society. And once a cashless society is in order, commerce is fast tracked. The chip as well bears on political functions and rights. But critics have asked: ‘say, if an American refuses the chip, what happens?’ And the U.S. government replies: ‘without the chip, you can neither buy nor sell, nor get access to health care facilities. You cannot drive your car on federal highways, should you manage to get one without the chip, you cannot vote or be voted for without the chip, you are not an American and you are violating a law. So, without the chip, you are an offender!’

“Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark…” Revelation 13:16-17.

But instead of starting a civil unrest, citizens with religious objections averse to the chip exercise are imploring government to embed the chip in a card, and religious objections would vanish. However, product manufacturers said they encountered a brick wall. Should the chip be in a card, they will encounter serious problems. The chip could be cut and information would be changed or falsified. The value could be manipulated or stolen and all these will spell doom in the general market. There is only one solution found for this problem, and that is by implanting it into the human body – The Head, underneath the scalp, and the backside of the hand, specifically – The Right Hand. That is why it unavoidably must have to clash with that age long prophecy, the victims of which are said to have successfully secured a place in the lake of fire that burns with brimstones! Since the prophecy about a chip in the right hand or forehead is fulfilled, then logic tells you there must also be a lake of fire called HELL. What does it matter, is that anything to you?

U.S. Celebrities with chips in their foreheads or right hands are frolicking North and South, singing:

Go go go, why must you be a nuisance? Get your chip and be a cool, cool American!

You must then be crazy if you think people are crazy when they file out in a few days’ time for a minor surgery (some say initiation) to get implanted into their body an object that amounts to a lifetime in a mysteriously changing world – RFID Microchip. Just watch, and pray if you can as yet another vision is fulfilled upon America as the microchip law gets underway –  the destruction of the U.S. by Iranian nuclear weapon!.

Can anyone hold back the hand of prophecy or, can God’s word become void? Then why must you stand, gapping? Salvage what you can, and in doing that, take a leaf from Father Abraham: his influence salvaged Lot out of Sodom. Start Now To Tell Your People in America Not to Take Any Mark in Their Right Hand or Forehead. Warn them to monetize their assets and send them home as they flee out of U.S. before that dreadful vision of destruction comes real.

All these end time events indicate one thing – that the RAPTURE OF THE SAINTS is at hand, and that is the single event that ushers in all the rest of it, summed up in one dreadful caption – THE GREAT TRIBULATION. Once a person misses the rapture, he thereby rejects the redemptive sacrifice of Christ at Calvary or has simply not taken the benefit of it, and he will have to slug it out with Satan’s beast, if he will not perish in that Lake of fire, same as Adulterers, Lovers  of pleasures, Fornicators, Liars, Robbers, Riggers, Disobedient and the likes. Such a person must reject it in any guise it be branded, any mark in the right hand or in the forehead. For as God seals His own people on their forehead to distinguish them, so Satan’s beast – the coming world ruler – marks his people in their right hand or forehead in order to get a clear cut view of those ready to snatch eternity with Christ, and destroy them or prevent them. It is the sum of this matter that Christ referred to as The Great Tribulation.

During the tribulation, life will become meaningless and hard. Nothing will remain as it had ever been. There would be such discomforting heat that men would curse God – Oh my God! Natural disasters will be at record high that the heart of many will melt away at mere sight of what then occurs. Listen to Jesus Christ:

And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nations in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming upon the world; for the power of the heavens will be shaken” –  Luke 21: 23-26

Isn’t it natural? A man will pay dearly for the neglect to repair a little tear, and one who misses his chance is like a monkey that misses his footing, he will not be spared! So if in a period of grace and peace as this you cannot serve God with your whole being, whither comes your stamina to stand at such a dreadful time as comes? Then one bitter conclusion is playing out here… you could miss the rapture and …. You might not be able to withstand the sweeping wind of deception that would be blowing after rapture and then …. You could get the mark of the Beast – 666. Decide your fate! Listen again:

“…For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been shortened, no human being would be saved…” – Jesus Christ, Mathew 24: 2-22

Imagine a description of those days by Jesus Christ.

“… If those days had not been shortened, no human being would be saved….”

God has so planned it that during this period of Satanic orgy His seven bowls of wrath will be poured out on earth – and everyone will empty them to the dregs.  It will be such that a third of mankind will die by pestilence, sword, famine, and the likes. Great earthquakes will swallow up as much as a whole country at once and the sun will hang loose from its socket, becoming so fierce that every green tree will wither men will seek death and not find one.

“So the first angel went and poured his bowl on the earth, and foul and evil sores came upon the men who bore the mark of the beast and worshipped its image. The second angel poured his bowl into the sea, and it became like the blood of a dead man, and every living thing died that was in the sea. The third angel poured his bowl into the rivers and the fountains of water, and they became blood…Revelation 16:2-20

Need I remind you that the Chinese sea has already turned blood? It is at such time that you get to realize that those chronic S.U have not wasted their time living for God in holiness. They have not set their value on such things as you have – degrees, beauty, sex, enjoyment, partying, blackberries, fashion show and the likes. And you will be faced with two options – to reject a mark in your right hand or forehead in whatever guise it may come and Never Bow To Any Image.  For this and everything you will be beheaded. Failure thereby confirms your allegiance to Satan and rebellion to God.

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the Souls of them that were be headed for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their right hand; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” Revelation 20:4-4

And come to think of it, it is never too late to make rapture. But you must retrace your step.  Jesus Himself prophesied  that many who are last shall become first, implying that some  already standing in the Christian faith will backslide, to be replaced by others who, by some chance get to  realize  there is much to the sky  than just clouds.

Take the steps as outlined below:

A   –   Acknowledge and confess your sins to God. Ask him to forgive you and            cleanse you with the Blood of Jesus Christ. Make restitution as possible as it may be.

B   –   Receive and confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.

C   –   Be baptized in water – Ministering Spirit outreach offers you this service – 08161110252

D   – Join in eating the Holy Communion

E   –   Pray and fast always. Read and meditate on the scripture daily.

F   –   You must always preach Christ daily to people. No one makes rapture if he does not witness Christ to others. Be warned!

G   – Ask for the Baptism of the Holy Ghost to be equipped with power for end time exploit and to withstand the temptations and attack of the devil.

H   – Fast and pray always. Intercede for others

I    –   Remove worldly and marine articles far from you. Objects such as chains, attachment, weavons, armbands, worldly clothes and fashion.

J   –  Always attend church services. The fellowship with the Brethren and the Lamb cleanses you continuously from unknown sins.   Amen.

“…one of the projects was called the phoenix project which had to do with Vietnam Veterans.  This chip would actually cause extra-adrenaline flow. I was in one meeting where it was discussed: ‘how can you control a people if you cannot identify them?’

(CNN) Wednesday March 6, 1996:  Twelve years old Prince William of Wales of Future King of Great Britain was one of the first human recipients ever to be implanted with a computer microchip placed just underneath the skin of his right hand. Sources say this was done as a precautionary measure in the instance he were ever kidnapped, a signal would be sent to an earth orbiting satellite and then relayed back to Scotland  yard and special British security forces.
